Hello Beauties! 


I just wanted to tell you a little about why I love beauty so much..

I guess I've always really loved beauty, to be honest. I remember getting my first makeup kit as a toddler (it was fake by the way, the lipstick was plastic) and I play with my mom's makeup every chance I get. At this point I was positive I was going to be a hairdresser some day. By the time I was 10, I was spending my allowances on Wet n' Wild and convinced my parents to let me wear neutral colors to school.

A couple years later it became my escape from everything. I was going through a difficult time with confidence like most preteens do during puberty. Makeup just made me feel better. People paint on a canvas when they are upset, I use my face as that canvas. It made me feel beautiful on the outside, and that feeling made me feel beautiful on the inside, too.
Soon I wanted to share that feeling with others. I wanted to make others see that they can feel beautiful. So I started making YouTube videos. I would make tutorials on some of my favorite looks, review products, and sometimes just talk. I was getting comments from so many young girls (I was 14 when I started, so I guess they were my age) saying that they really liked my videos. This made me feel really good. That I was helping someone.

Eventually life took over, I started high school and doing theatre and ended up removing my videos from YouTube because 3 years later, they were kind of embarrassing.

Since then I started cosmetology school and got official training in almost all things beauty. I still love making others feel beautiful, but now I can do it with my own two hands. But I still missed sharing my knowledge...which is what brought me back here. I love sharing what I know and learning from other beauty enthusiasts.
